Job Summary Our client is looking for a vibrant and experienced Sales/Business Development Manager to join their company. The individual will be responsible for the sales function and developing a sales strategy to help grow their business by selling their digital suite to existing and potential clients. Requirements: At least 10 years experience in a business development or sales role A legal, actuarial or financial qualification Strong leadership skills Experience with B2B complex sales environments preferably in enterprise software solutions and digital applications Experience working with clients in the financial services industry (insurance industry an advantage) Understanding of financial services businesses Understanding of digital technology Strong grasp and understanding of commercial concepts Must be willing to travel in Africa Excellent interpersonal skills Inherent drive and motivation to be successful Responsibilities: Manage, nurture and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity to generate lead opportunities Provide engaging and articulate information about value proposition to potential customers Identify business challenges and problems within potential customers Manage complex enterprise sales throughout the sales cycle Efficient management of the sales pipeline using existing defined processes as well as improvement on these processes Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals and the presentation of professional product demonstrations, face to face meetings, etc. Meet set sales targets Please note that only experienced candidates will be considered and contacted.
