JOB CONTEXT:
We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and communicative Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This role is instrumental in bridging business needs with technical solutions in a fast-paced SAP-based environment, using Agile/Scrum methodologies. You will be responsible for eliciting and translating business requirements, investigating data/process issues within SAP systems, and supporting technical integrations across the supply chain domain. This role demands strong stakeholder engagement skills, critical thinking, and proven experience in SAP projects.
THE JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity with user management tool principles & practices and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Elicit, document, and validate clear, structured business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Investigate and analyse technical or data-related issues within SAP systems and related platforms.
• Collaborate with SAP developers, integration teams, and solution architects to implement changes.
• Facilitate technical system integrations including defining connection and data flow requirements.
• Document end-to-end processes, functional designs, data mappings, and configuration logic.
• Develop and execute manual test plans and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support data quality checks, issue resolution, and post-deployment validation.
• Participate in daily Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Drive alignment between business processes and system design across cross-functional teams.
• Work across multiple time zones and support global stakeholders.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in IT projects.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working on SAP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP
• S/4HANA, or SAP Logistics modules).
• Ability to navigate SAP GUI, extract data, and understand basic configuration/data flows.
• Strong foundational Business Analyst skills in:

o Requirement gathering & facilitation
o Business process modelling (e.g., BPMN)
o Writing functional specs & user stories
o Testing and defect triage

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with both business and technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex datasets and systems.
• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, and other collaborative tools.
