Business Analyst (junior, Intermediate & Senior)
Job Description
Gather and document requirements through interviews, workshops, and document review
Analyse business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Conduct playback sessions and validate findings with business units and project teams
Collaborate with Systems Analysts and Project Managers to design and implement optimal automated solutions
Document BRS, data flows, interface layouts, screen layouts, and reports
Lead or support UAT planning and execution
Maintain accurate and updated documentation, ensuring effective communication across stakeholders, departmental units, and management
Mentor and guide junior or mid-level analysts (for senior roles)
Ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions, facilitate process improvements, and contribute to successful project delivery
Junior:
Diploma or degree in Technology (ICT) or Information Systems
Minimum of 1 year's experience in a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, System Engineer, Quality Assurance, or Business Requirement Analysis role
Basic knowledge of SDLC and process modelling
Strong analytical and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office.
Mid-Level:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, IT, Computer Science, or related field
3-5 years' experience
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, process modelling, and UAT facilitation
Proficient in business analysis tools, data analysis, and reporting; excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Senior:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analysis, IT, Systems Engineering, or related field
6+ years' experience; advanced expertise in SDLC, Agile/Waterfall, process modelling, data analysis, and UAT leadership
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, solution design, mentoring, and project delivery
Advanced skills in MS Office, Visio, and reporting tools.
