Our client, a premier IT Consulting Company, is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a background in software development, BI, or SQL development. Key Responsibilities:
Business & Requirements Analysis:

• Establish and maintain a strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery.
• Develop detailed business requirements and related business rules.
• Collaborate with Business IT teams to define, test, train, implement, and support functional requirements.
• Identify requirements using industry-standard techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition.
• Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and existing system documentation.

Analysis & Solution Definition:

• Quickly grasp business challenges and data issues within the organization.
• Translate customer needs into clear application and operational requirements.
• Assess organizational strengths/weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Prepare, review, and refine requirements, specifications, and process flows.
• Develop functional and system design specifications for client engagements.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of databases and SQL (MSSQL experience required).
• Coordinate testing efforts and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Work with clients to identify necessary changes and communicate them to the development team.

Client & Project Management:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations effectively.
• Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Produce clear, professional documentation and adhere to best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• IT Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years of business analysis experience (preferably in IT/software environments).
• MSSQL proficiency (previous Developer or DBA experience is a plus).
• Strong facilitation and requirements-gathering skills.
• Experience working under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and IT best practices.
