We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in buying processes to join our IT department. This role will support and enhance our Buying tech systems by bridging the gap between buying processes and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of buying processes and systems, alongside the ability to collaborate closely with IT teams to deliver effective, innovative solutions. You will play a key role in optimising the performance and functionality of our buying systems, ensuring they align with the business's strategic goals. Qualifications
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Business Management/Procurement
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Three or more years of working experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Buyer
• Strong understanding of buying and sourcing terms and concepts: The candidate must have a solid understanding of buying terminology, principles, and sourcing practices to effectively communicate and support buying system requirements
• Ability to interpret data: The candidate must demonstrate the ability to analyse information and translate it into actionable insights for both IT and buying teams.
• Experience within the retail environment is advantageous
• Business Analyst exposure with system analysis; business process development; including the holding of workshops; preparing documentation
• Experience in writing business and system requirements and functional specifications,
• Experience in communicating with clients and facilitating workshops
• Business process modelling and documenting workflows
• Presentation and communication skills and facilitation of workshops
• Logical thinking and analytical ability with excellent numerical skills and the ability to be accurate and pay attention to detail.

• Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams
• Identifying, assessing and documenting business requirements and user stories
• Assess and define change requests received from users about business processes and systems.
• Participate in the solution design process, provide solutions for requests and support for the implementation thereof.
• Translation of business processes and system requirements into specific projects, ensuring solutions are commercially acceptable within the strategic framework.
• Provide effective and timely support to internal users on processes, systems and technology activities
• Maintaining configuration documents and providing recommendations as necessary.
• Supply users with skills and knowledge of processes and systems via training sessions and workshops.
• Define the success criteria for solution testing
• Assist with UAT, functional and integration testing.
