A leading insurance provider is seeking a skilled Broker Consultant to join its dynamic team, covering the Free State and Northern Cape regions. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture profitable relationships with brokers to attract and retain business.
• Promote and sell trucking insurance products using a consultative sales approach.
• Conduct risk assessments, underwriting analysis, and recommend alternative structures.
• Provide product training and support to brokers to enhance their knowledge.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial management.
• Maintain a structured branch and broker visitation plan.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 7 years experience in Commercial, Agri, or Trucking insurance.
• Afrikaans - Non-negotiable - Read, Write and Speak
• Strong understanding of underwriting, risk assessment, and claims procedures.
• Relationship management skills with a proven ability to engage brokers effectively.
• Knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle products (advantageous).
• Familiarity with reinsurance principles and treaties.
• Short-Term Insurance NQF 4 or 5 qualification required.
• A BCom degree/diploma or similar qualification would be an advantage.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours and attend networking events when needed.
