Job Overview:

We are looking for a

responsible and experienced Broiler / Layer Supervisor

to oversee daily poultry house operations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal flock health, growth, and production performance while maintaining biosecurity, hygiene, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily activities in broiler and/or layer houses. Monitor bird health, feed intake, water consumption, and mortality. Ensure correct feed rations and manage feed deliveries. Maintain biosecurity and hygiene standards across all poultry units. Record and report daily production data (feed, mortality, egg counts, weights, etc.). Supervise staff and ensure proper work allocation and performance. Monitor ventilation, temperature, and lighting in poultry houses. Assist with vaccination, culling, and general flock management programs. Coordinate with management regarding production targets and issues. Ensure compliance with animal welfare and safety regulations.

Carry out and oversee maintenance and repairs within the cages and poultry houses.

Pick up and drop off farm employees as required (company vehicle provided).

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday:

07:00 - 16:00

Every second weekend:

Saturday & Sunday 07:00 - 12:00

Requirements:

Minimum of

2-3 years' experience

in poultry (broiler or layer) production. Strong knowledge of

biosecurity and poultry health management

. Basic technical or maintenance skills (advantageous). Valid driver's license and safe driving record. Ability to lead and manage a small team. Good communication and reporting skills. Physically fit and willing to work long hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Competitive salary based on experience.
