Our client is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to contribute to their progressive engineering division. Play a role in diverse SANRAL and bridge design projects
Participate in the design process for reinforced concrete and steel structures
Showcase expertise in preparing project BOQs
Contribute to the completion of contract administration and tender documentation
Take charge of compiling comprehensive and impactful reports
Exhibit effective skills in site supervision and project management
Engage in client liaison and foster effective collaboration within the engineering team
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years of expertise in Bridge Design
Proficient in Finite Element Design Software: Sofistik, Prokon, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Skilled in preparing Contract Documentation, specifications, and schedules of quantities
Advantageous knowledge of SANRAL processes
Bonus experience in bridge hydrology and hydraulics
Additional advantage in designing feature bridges
Qualification:
BSc or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering)
Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA registration)
Registered Bridge Inspector will be an advantage
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
