Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (Mpumalanga) Basic Functions & Objectives -Support and Contribute to the Overall Mission of the Company -To protect and expand the interest of the Company in the designated Department -To strive diligently to be well informed regarding the needs of the Customer, our Products and its Applications -Abide, at all times, to the Working Rules and Regulations of the Company -Actively Promote the Policies of the Company -Positively contribute, in whatever way possible, to the Achievement the Objectives within the Department -Understand the cultural differences in our multi cultural environment Key performance areas of the Position Internal Sales You will be responsible for Internal Sales functions, including -Support the Sales Engineer at Sasol Secunda with field sales calls and queries -On receipt of requests for quotations for Sasol 1, liaise with Sales Engineer re quotes & delivery dates -Prepare Quote from JCE on Rascal and follow up on Quotations done (Scoping in WIP) -Once purchase order is received update on Rascal to Sales order -Follow correct procedures and processes when dealing with Sasol orders and JCES JCEs to be downloaded from K2 and handed to relevant team to scope -Run MRP & order stock from Head Office -Expedite orders send stock from Secunda / liaise with Supply and Purchasing Departments at head office -Follow up on back orders with head office Follow up on buyouts with suppliers -Update WIP Report on a weekly basis for forecasting purposes and summary before discussion (Scoping, WIP, Detailed WIP, Expediting for Secunda & Sasolburg) -Assist with annual shutdown preparation for Sasol plant-Liaising with the plant regarding availability of stock and commencement of work as per Purchase Order-Download Purchase orders and change orders from SAP Ariba and update WIP accordingly-Sourcing of prices from various suppliers as required for JCEs Stock Control -You will be responsible for the maintaining of min/max levels of stock for Trading & Services -Allocation of Stock to Job for planned site tasks -Receive & check buyout orders from suppliers -Expedite back orders with head office -Maintain store in a tidy and clean condition -Ensure no stock losses during the four quarters stock takes (Services) -Assist site employees with stock for A priorities / emergency jobs -Organize & execute stock takes as per Trading request -Ensure Obsolete stock list is updated monthly -Liaise with head office re courier deliveries / collections -Maintain filing system for completed sales orders General -Perform any other reasonable tasks specified by management from time to time -Filing Lokring Certs -Filing of suppliers invoices for C&L Auditing purposes -Ensure Accounts Dep receives suppliers invoices once received for on for accurate payments -Identify Sasol contract issues with regards to GP, stock items to add or remove from Sasol contract Environmental & Quality It is the Companys main aim to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all, to improve morale, quality of life and to comply with all environmental laws and regulations.
