About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xero and QuickBooks, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Record financial transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting systems (Xero & QuickBooks)
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and follow-ups
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking
• Support the preparation of tax filings and audits
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
• Collaborate with accountants and management to provide insights on financial performance

Requirements
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
• Strong proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks (online and desktop versions)
• Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other bookkeeping tools
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance
• Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses
• Familiarity with additional tools like Hubdoc, Dext, or Gusto is a plus
