MUST HAVE: DRIVERS LICENCE & OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE

A group of companies are looking for a Bookkeeper to oversee and manage their financial data with accuracy while ensuring compliance.

Duties:

1. Accurately record all financial transactions such as purchases, sales and expenses.

2. Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.

3. Maintain the general ledger by reconciling accounts and correcting discrepancies.

4. Process customer invoices and intercompany billing.

5. Collect and record relevant payroll data for payroll processing.

6. Prepare bank payment batches for release.

7. Accurately reconciling of all bank accounts.

8. Prepare financial statements as well as management reports.

9. Assist with tax payment and the preparation of tax returns.

10. Assist auditors with Financial Year End requirements.

11. Recording of relevant information on in-house CRM / Project Management system.

12. General Office management.

13. Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving measures

Qualification & Skills:

Education: Financial or equivalent qualification

Experience: Previous experience of at least 5 years as a Bookkeeper

Payroll and HR exposure

Proven quotation and invoicing skills

Experience with Withholding Taxes will give a strong advantage.

Key skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability are essential.

Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.

Multitasking skills for managing various duties and projects simultaneously.

Building strong relationships with clients and team members in a professional and courteous manner.

Software: Experience working with Sage One Cloud for longer than 2 years.

Salary:

Remuneration will be determined by education and skill level.
