Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts & Costing Administrator to join our office-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bookkeeping functions on Xero up to VAT submission, reconciling supplier accounts, and preparing costings in Excel. Key Responsibilities: o Full bookkeeping function on Xero up to VAT submission o Capture supplier invoices, customer invoices, and payments o Bank, credit card, and supplier reconciliations o Prepare VAT201 returns for review and submission o Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems o Prepare costings, margin analysis, and reports in Excel o Liaise with suppliers regarding statements and queries Requirements: o 2-5 years bookkeeping experience o Proven experience using Xero o Solid understanding of VAT principles o Strong Excel skills (costings and formulas) o High attention to detail and accuracy o Ability to work independently Salary: Salary is market-related and dependent on experience (approximately R25,000 - R35,000 per month).   • High attention to detail and accuracy
