Job Description

Our client is seeking a professional Bookings Clerk to join their team at a leading motor vehicle dealership based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing appointment bookings, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, service, and parts departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Schedule appointments for vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Interact with customers via phone, email, or in-person to understand service needs and provide information on service options and pricing
Coordinate with the service department to ensure appointments are properly managed and parts are available
Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs
Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows
Maintain accurate customer and service records
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and timely follow-ups
Assist with administrative tasks and collaborate with the dealership team

Skills & Requirements:

Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans); a third South African language is an advantage
Experience in the motor dealership industry, especially as a Bookings Clerk, is preferred
Some mechanical knowledge is an advantage
Strong communication and customer service skills
Problem-solving and results-driven mindset
Self-management and resilience
