Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Construction and repair: Building and fixing boilers, tanks, and other large vessels for storing and processing various products.
• Welding: Using welding equipment to join metal parts and repair components, often involving different methods like MIG and TIG welding.
• Metal fabrication: Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal pieces using tools like flame cutting torches and other machinery.
• Installation: Installing components inside vessels, as well as other equipment such as pipes for dams or pollution abatement equipment.
• Testing: Testing completed boilers and other vessels to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance to ensure the longevity of the structures.
• Rigging: Setting up rigging to lift and move heavy parts into place.

• Physical fitness: The job requires significant physical strength for heavy lifting and long shifts.
• Problem-solving: The ability to analyze problems and find solutions is crucial for coordinating projects and working through challenges.
