Our client has an opportunity available for a Boilermaker based in Aeroton.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Complete routine inspections at the start of every shift.
Rectify problems identified in routine inspections.
Perform work as per planned maintenance schedules.
Rectify breakdowns to restore plant run-ability.
Engage in marking, drilling and tapping for new part manufacture and repair.
Dismantle, recondition and re-assemble various mechanical engineering units when brought into the workshop for repairs.
Read and interpret drawings.
Develop equipment as per drawings and install equipment.
Responsible for PM preparation and execution of work.
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping standards in workshops, workplaces and on operational units.
Assist other engineering departments performing certain tasks.
Maintain all company tools in good working condition and report all defective equipment to relevant Foreman.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract position.
