Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- N2 with a Trade Test (Boilermaker)
- 5+ Year's post trade experience preferably from a FMCG manufacturing environment
- Certificate in Health and Safety training
- Computer literacy - MS Office, SAP Module (PM)
- Project management, scoping and scheduling i.e. planning, critical path analysis, budgeting and supervision
- Structural design and installation supervision
- Manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team focusing on boiler making and welding
- Provide technical input for setting up and optimization of the plant performance
- Maintain and update technical data drawings of plant equipment
- Adhere to maintenance procedures to mitigate risk of plant breakdowns
- General HR functions
- Report and investigate all accidents, incidents and implement preventative measures
- Self-starter with high energy levels
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a structured way
- Have good analytical skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage, motivate and train a team successfully
- Excellent communication skills (writing and verbally)
- Ability to interact and communicate on all levels
- Good decision making and planning skills
