Quotation and Tender Administrator at Siemens Energy
We are looking for a motivated initiative-taker to join our large steam and gas turbine service business to support with administrative activities related to submission of customer quotations and tenders. The successful candidate will evidence a proven ability to work under pressure, delivering quality output with a strong focus on diligence. The candidate will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals, with a passion for customer-focused engagement. An ability to navigate a matrix organisation and respect for deadlines will be a key enabler.
How You will Make an Impact

• Compiling and submitting tender documents in response to Requests for Quotation
• Recording and tracking of opportunities through our CRM tool (Salesforce), including always ensure data quality.
• Provide end to end support throughout the proposal life cycle, including proposal management and advice from off to presentation stage.
• Coordinating inputs into the bid calculation from our network of factories and service centres around the globe, with a particular focus on spare parts.
• Support the client team to draft documents, quotes including cover letter letters, executive summaries based on customer requirements and the inputs from relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure you submit quotes on time.
• Support with handover of won projects into the execution teams.
• Validation of purchase orders received against tenders and quotes submitted.
• Create purchase requisitions for all internal procurement activities in SAP.
• Expedite internally procured orders from our network of suppliers to confirm expected delivery times to the customer (or escalate delayed delivery times).

What You Bring

• N4 Mechanical Engineering,
• 1 - 2 years' experience within the mechanical power engineering environment
• Self-driven individual thus is thorough in work execution
• Attention to detail
• A good understanding and ability to work with Microsoft packages (Word, Advance Excel, SAP, CRM & Salesforce)

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
