Bid Manager
to take full ownership of our end-to-end tendering and proposal process within the ICT sector.

IT Managed Services (MSP), Cyber Security, VoIP, Connectivity, and Mobile solutions

This is a critical role for the business, requiring a proven bid professional who can independently lead complex bids, shape compelling win strategies, and deliver best-in-class submissions that stand out in competitive markets.
The Role
Bid & Tender Leadership
Take full ownership of all bids and tenders from opportunity identification through to final submission.
Develop clear bid strategies and win themes aligned to client needs, evaluation criteria, and brand positioning.
Lead and project-manage major bid opportunities, ensuring deadlines, quality, and compliance are met.
Coordinate internal stakeholders for contributions while retaining responsibility for the final bid output.
Ensure all submissions are fully compliant while clearly articulating differentiated and value-led solutions.
Maintain and continuously improve the bid library, templates, and insight repository.
Commercial Insight & Pricing
Build robust pricing models with minimal reliance on external review.
Apply strong commercial judgement to balance competitiveness with profitability.
Clearly articulate pricing assumptions, risk, and margin rationale.
Maintain margin discipline across all submissions.
Collaboration & Strategic Support
Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to gather specialist input where required.
Act as the central point of contact for all bid-related communications.
Support the Commercial Director on bespoke and strategic projects as needed.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Analyse bid outcomes and feedback to improve future performance.
Implement best practices to increase win rates and overall bid quality.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client buying behaviour to inform bid strategy.
What We're Looking For
Proven success in winning bids within
ICT, Managed Services, or related technology sectors
.
Strong understanding of
MSP contracts, Cyber Security, VoIP, Connectivity, and Mobile solutions
.
Demonstrated ability to own and deliver the entire bid process independently.
Strong commercial acumen with confidence in pricing and margin defence.
Experience with bid portals, tendering systems, and formal compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Technical knowledge is advantageous but not essential (technical support available).
Highly organised, proactive, resilient, and results-driven.
