Job Summary
BED AND BREAKFAST MANAGER(LIVE-IN will be essential) / East London - Our Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bed and Breakfast Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two charming B&B establishments. This hands-on role requires a professional with strong leadership, hospitality, and organizational skills to ensure guest satisfaction, staff efficiency, and smooth running of both properties.
Requirements:
Proven experience in hospitality or B&B/guesthouse management
Knowledge of Food and Beverage will be advantageous
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Sound administrative and financial management knowledge
Proficient in property management and booking systems
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of two B&B properties
Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are upheld
Manage property bookings, check-ins, and check-outs
Implement and enforce B&B policies and procedures
Deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest feedback or complaints
Ensure a warm, welcoming environment for all guests
Coordinate and oversee breakfast service and any additional offerings
Supervise and schedule housekeeping, kitchen, and support staff
Provide training and support to ensure high service standards
Maintain staff morale and manage performance
Monitor budgets, expenses, and supplier payments
Manage bookings, invoicing, and reporting using property management software
Track occupancy rates and implement marketing/promotional strategies as needed
Property Oversight
Ensure both properties are secure and maintained to a high standard
Conduct regular inspections and liaise with maintenance providers
Salary: R10,000.00 per month, including accommodation
