Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and engaging Basic End User Computing Facilitator to deliver accredited and non-accredited training programmes to adult learners. The ideal candidate is confident in the classroom, technically competent, and passionate about empowering learners with essential digital skills.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Basic End User Computing training aligned to curriculum and learning outcomes
Deliver engaging, learner-centred training sessions (theory and practical)
Support learners with varying levels of computer literacy
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and training materials
Conduct formative and summative assessments where required
Maintain accurate learner attendance, assessment records, and reports
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and SETA requirements (where applicable)
Provide learner support and feedback throughout the programme
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years' experience as a facilitator (essential)
IT-related qualification or strong IT background
Proven experience facilitating Basic End User Computing or similar programmes
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage diverse learner groups effectively
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet usage)
Advantageous / Preferred
Experience with SETA-accredited facilitation
Assessor and/or Moderator registration with a relevant SETA
Experience working with TVET colleges, skills programmes, or community-based training
