Job Summary Barman | Luxury Wine Estate | Franschhoek Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Barman for a luxury wine estate in Franschhoek . This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious property where you will deliver exceptional beverage service and contribute to creating memorable guest experiences. Requirements: Previous experience as a Barman within a luxury hospitality or fine dining environment Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, cocktails, and spirits Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and manner Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Reliable transport to and from work Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and well-organised at all times Maintain product knowledge to confidently recommend drinks and pairings to guests Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with company policy Assist with stock control, including ordering and inventory management Build and maintain positive guest relationships through attentive and professional service Work collaboratively with restaurant and service teams to ensure smooth operations Support special events, wine tastings, and functions as required Package: Salary: R6,500 - R7,500 (Negotiable DOE) | Live Out 50% Medical Aid contribution 3% Provident Fund contribution Annual increases and performance-related bonuses Meal allowance Subsidised staff transport on Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Wellington routes To apply for the Barman position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements for the position will be contacted.
