Barman 5 Star Hotel– Franschhoek
Job Description
Welcome and serve guests in a warm and professional way
Mix and serve a wide range of cocktails and drinks
Know the food and drink menu well to make recommendations
Make sure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and ready for service
Handle guest requests and complaints in a professional manner
Help with basic cleaning tasks and preparing the bar area
Manage cash and card payments correctly using the POS system
Light and maintain the fireplace in winter when needed
At least 1 year of experience as a barman in a 5-star setting
Strong knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar hygiene
Experience using POS systems (Easipos is a plus)
Good communication and customer service skills
Matric required
A wine certificate or mixology course is a bonus
Between 1 - 3 Years
