Job Summary
We are hiring a Barista! Type: Permanent
Location: CPT - CBD
Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages according to recipes
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment correctly and safely
- Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all drinks
- Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and pastries
- Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally and promptly
- Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of the barista station, machines, counters, and seating areas
- Wash and sanitize utensils, cups, and tools regularly
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and health regulations always
- Stock & Inventory
- Monitor and restock ingredients, cups, and supplies
- Report low stock or equipment issues to the supervisor or manager
- Assist with daily stock counts and receiving deliveries
- Cash Handling & POS
- Accurately process orders through the POS system
- Handle cash, card, and voucher transactions securely
- Ensure receipts, orders, and change are given correctly
