Cube Workspace Rondebosch is looking for a friendly, reliable, and service-driven Barista to run our cafe station. The ideal candidate will prepare quality coffee, serve snacks and cold drinks, handle payments, and ensure a welcoming environment for our clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and hot beverages to a high standard. Serve snacks, cold drinks, and other light refreshments. Operate the Yoco payment system and process all transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and serving area. Ensure stock levels are monitored and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Follow opening and closing procedures for the cafe area.
Requirements:
Previous barista or customer-service experience (advantageous but not essential). Ability to operate basic point-of-sale systems (Yoco experience an advantage). Friendly, professional, and well-presented. Strong communication and people skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
