Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Create and maintain cocktail menus, ensuring consistency and creativity.
Manage stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and control wastage.
Monitor and maintain draught systems, ensuring product quality and equipment upkeep.
Handle ordering, receiving, and supplier communication for all bar-related stock.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
Manage cash-up procedures and maintain accurate sales and stock records.
Work closely with management to plan events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience
in a bar management or senior bar role.
Strong knowledge of
cocktails, wines, spirits, and draught systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Solid understanding of
stock control
and cost management.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Own transport or reliable means of travel
is essential.
Professional, well-presented, and committed to delivering top-quality service.
Preferred Attributes:
Mixology or barista training is advantageous.
Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
Passion for innovation and keeping up with beverage trends.
