Our Client, a National Giant and Leaders in the Technology space, requires a Backup Engineer at their Head Office in Cape Town, to manage the installation and administration of their Enterrise Backup Software
Description
Manage the installation of Enterprise Backup Software
Implementing and maintaining retention policies
Managing and maintaining documenting recovery procedure
Regular backup monitoring and health checks
Testing and evaluating new backup software and hardware features
Minimum Requirements
Tertiary Qualification
5 Years experience in a specialist role as a Backup Engineer
Experience working on an Enterprise backup Software like Veeam or similar
Experience with the following tech essential:
Network Protocols (TCP/IP), Windows, Redhat Linux, AIX Unix Server Systems, and ITL
Some knowledge of VMWare
