Qualifications / Experience

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Practical experience or internships in IT or software development
• Familiarity with programming and scripting concepts through academic or personal projects
• Focus on Corporate Service Document and Output Management systems
• Understanding of enterprise document generation workflows
• Exposure to template development methodologies

Essential Skills Requirements

• Experience with Document Template development solutions
• Familiarity with IT application SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process
• Proficiency in XML and XPath for data manipulation and querying
• Basic programming experience in Perl scripting
• Basic programming experience in Unix scripting and automation
• Ability to interpret and create user requirement specifications
• Experience working with Linux servers and command-line environments
• Document template customization and deployment capabilities
• Process automation through scripting solutions

Advantageous Skills Requirements

• Exposure to Exstream software or similar document generation tools
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Basic understanding of database management and SQL
• Experience with scripting languages: Python, Bash
• Knowledge of ITSM tools: BMC Remedy, ServiceNow
• Cloud platforms understanding: AWS, Azure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective technical communication skills
• Collaborative team environment experience
• Troubleshooting and technical issue resolution
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies

Role Requirements

• Assist in development and maintenance of document templates using Exstream software
• Collaborate with team members to gather and understand user requirements
• Write and test XML, XPath, and Perl scripts for template customization
• Support Unix scripting tasks to automate processes and workflows
• Work with Linux servers to deploy and manage document templates
• Participate in IT application SDLC process including testing and deployment phases
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document templates and automation scripts
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for templates, scripts, and business processes
• Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders as required
• Learn and apply industry best practices for template development and scripting
• Contribute actively to team meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge in template development technologies
• Additional responsibilities as per AWM Charter or department manager direction
