Job Description

Our client would like a solutions BA/solutions analyst to join their team. The solutions analyst will play a key role in assisting in defining, implementing and changing new and/or existing solutions within the company and the clientxe2x80x99s product offering. The Solutions Analyst must analyse the solution from a holistic point of view taking all the touch points/peripherals/systems into consideration.

Duties and responsivities:

• Business Requirement Gathering (solution or project or process)

o Business Process Analysis
o Feasibility and Needs Analysis
o Due Diligence and Gap Analysis
o Business Requirement Analysis & Documentation
o Functional Testing
o UAT and support during UAT
o Ability to conduct JAD sessions internally and with external clients
o Provide training content and facilitate training for end xe2x80x93users on new business processes and changes on existing processes

• Consulting

o Provide input and/or define the end-to-end solution
o Problem Resolution and Troubleshooting
o Provide support to all the teams in implementing effective and efficient solutions
o Impact analysis in terms of processes/solutions
o Liaise with the IS for process / system changes

• Work with business unit managers to assist in delivering new or enhanced projects/solutions
• Liaison and / or coordinate with the company and client project team members i.e., project managers, IS resources and developers with regards to implementing a requirement/solution.
• Gain a good understanding of the solutions that service the specific domain.
• Gain a general understanding of the financial industry and relevant business sectors serviced by the company
• Gain a strong understanding of all the companies business units and solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum matric qualification essential
• Business Degree or Diploma (in related industry) is preferable
• Formal business analysis training is preferable
• Previous web experience is preferable
• Knowledge of the financial industry
• Experience with working in project teams
• Experience with working on digital projects

• Knowledge Required (preferable)
• Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the role of a business analyst.
• Knowledge of the financial industry.
• Knowledge of the Agile methodology advantageous
• Experience with software implementation projects.
• Experience with working in project teams.
• Experience with documentation of requirements (including gap analysis and feasibility studies)
• Web experience

Salary: Up to R1 mil
