The Systems Administrator (sysadmin) is responsible for managing and maintaining the group of companies' computer systems and networks. Tasks and responsibilities associated with the role of the systems administrator:

1. Server Management:


? Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.


? Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues.


? Apply security patches and updates to servers regularly.


? Perform backups and disaster recovery planning.

2. Network Administration:


? Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.


? Configure and manage network protocols and services (e.g., DHCP, DNS, VPN).


? Ensure network security and implement access controls.

3. User Account Management:


? Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.


? Reset passwords and troubleshoot account-related issues.


? Implement and enforce password policies and access controls.

4. Software Installation and Maintenance:


? Install, update, and maintain operating systems and software applications.


? Ensure software licenses are compliant and up to date.


? Troubleshoot software-related problems.

5. Security Management:


? Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.


? Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.


? Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

6. Storage Management:


? Manage storage solutions, including SANs (Storage Area Networks) and NAS (Network Arched Storage).


? Allocate and optimize storage resources.


? Implement data backup and recovery strategies.

7. Virtualization and Cloud Management:


? Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) and containers.


? Monitor and optimize cloud resources (cloud services).


? Implement cloud security best practices.

8. Documentation and Reporting:


? Maintain documentation of system configuring

Requirements

Azure certifications - preferred, but not essential if Candidates have solid Azure hands on experience.
