Job Description

Possess a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services and cloud architecture principles. As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet our clients' business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of these solutions.

Work closely with business to understand their requirements and technical needs

Design and architect cloud solutions using AWS services and best practices

Develop architectural diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications for proposed and existing solutions

Provide guidance and technical leadership

Identify potential risks and issues related to the existing and proposed solutions and provide mitigation strategies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the solutions

Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, technologies, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to business

Conduct cost analysis and optimization to ensure solutions are cost-effective

Perform security assessments and implement security best practices for cloud environments

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise at any time

• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams as needed
• Work closely with Network Security Specialist to ensure smooth and reliable network traffic

• Knowledge & Experience
• Matric or equivalent of Senior certification
• Bachelors degree in computer science from a recognised institute
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Non Negotiable)
• AWS Certified Cloud Security Architect (Beneficial)
• AWS Certified SysOps Engineer (Beneficial)
• 3+ years of experience
• Strong Networking experience
