Job Summary Role Overview:

AV Field Service Technician will be responsible for:

• Attending to calls logged by clients in in-office company support technicians
• Installation scheduled by BBM project managers
• Conduct daily site visits and resolve any issues that arise or are apparent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to calls logged by BBM clients
• Responding to calls logged by BBM in-office support technicians
• Carrying out installations scheduled by BBM project managers
• Scheduling site visits within specific areas (trips planned in advance)
• Scheduling and completing preventative maintenance
• Compiling full maintenance reports after work is completed
• Collecting and delivering stock
• Stock management (weekly report)
• Completing weekly logbook
• Pre-site preparation
• Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues
• Completing train and up-skilling in quieter times

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of wiring, cable termination, and best practice standards
• Advanced fault-finding skills
• Digital Signage and Audio Visual equipment configuration
• Effective time-management skills with a systematic way of working (critical)
• Positive attitude, Self-Motivated Individual
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Ability to cope in pressurised times
• On stand-by during quieter work periods
• Able to work over-time (when required)
• Able to travel for work (when required)
• A Matriculant Senior Certificate
• Min. 2 years of work experience in a technical field
• Customer Service experience (advantageous)
• Valid Drivers license (mandatory)
• No Criminal Record
• Computer literate
