We are expanding our AutoStore team and now seeking an additional Sales Manager to sell AutoStore solutions in South Africa. You are a passionate sales manager with a background in automated storage, intralogistics or warehouse handling equipment. You will be responsible for developing the pipeline of sales for our AutoStore solutions and have the commercial skills and experience to help grow a business from start-up to established success.
The Sales Manager's primary objectives are the development and sales of new AutoStore projects, in EMEA with a focus on the South African market. In close cooperation with the local Kardex and AutoStore organization. By using his/her own excellent network and cold calling potential clients, he/she builds up new customer relationships to develop AutoStore opportunities. The Job holder cooperates with the company's existing sales community.
The sales manager is highly customer-oriented and has an excellent know how about the customer's logistics processes and requirements. He/she is able to evaluate potential opportunities, consult the customer accordingly and propose solutions. In close collaboration with logistics consultants, other teammates or independently, the best possible logistics and IT solution for the customer's benefit is developed and proposed. The sales manager is experienced in negotiations and has an excellent ability to close deals.
The sales manager is highly motivated to work in a startup environment and is open for a wide range of tasks at different locations in South Africa. Travel to Europe will also be required from time to time.
