About the role:
A Mechanical Engineer would design, develop, and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure
efficient production processes, improve product quality, and reduce downtime. They would contribute to the company's
success by increasing productivity, enhancing product reliability, reducing costs, and supporting sustainable practices. By
optimizing manufacturing operations, the Mechanical Engineer would play a crucial role in helping the company meet
customer demands, stay competitive, and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Working with convey belts and bearing
- Pressure pipes and vacuums
- Drive and Driven Gears
- Roller barrel and roller ground
- Maintenance of changing oil/ lubricating metal parts or moving gears
- Maintenance of filters (Air filter)
- Maintain transmission chain
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Strong problem-solving skills and Analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and teamwork skills.
- Ability to develop and test mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with industry and standards and regulations.
