xf0x9fx92xb0 SALARY: Starting from R23,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)xf0x9fx94xa7 JOB PURPOSEWe are seeking a qualified and professional Audiologist to join our team in supporting a leading mining company. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, implementing hearing conservation programs, and ensuring compliance with mine health and safety regulations. This role requires regional travel and flexibility to work shifts as needed.xf0x9fx93x9d KEY RESPONSIBILITIESConduct audiometric screenings and diagnostic hearing assessments for mine employees.Develop and implement Hearing Conservation Programs in accordance with MHSA (Mine Health and Safety Act).Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and test results.Collaborate with onsite occupational health teams and mine management.Ensure compliance with all occupational health standards and legislative requirements.Travel to satellite sites in Limpopo and Mpumalanga to perform onsite audiology services.Participate in mine induction processes and ongoing site compliance training.Provide counselling and education on hearing loss prevention.Compile and submit reports as required by the mines health and safety department.xe2x9cx85 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in Audiology (or equivalent)Current registration with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)Minimum 2 years of clinical or occupational audiology experience preferredValid drivers license and willingness to travel between provincesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilitiesMust be able to pass a mine induction testxf0x9fx95x92 ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCandidates must be willing to work shifts, where required (details to be discussed during interview).All necessary PPE and travel arrangements will be facilitated by the company.Familiarity with audiometric equipment and occupational health software is advantageous.
