Working hours:

Monday - Friday: 06h30 - 17h30

Additional hours:

occasional Saturdays: 09h00 - 14h00 (these hours are built into the monthly salary).

A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 16 year old and 6 year old

Duties:

Dropping the children at school, collecting from school, assisting with in home and household management, errands, grocery shopping, managing of staff within the home. Transporting the children to and from extra murals, homework assistance and supervision, general care, assisting with anything childcare related, candidate will be required to travel with the family within school holiday periods (someone who is flexible). All traveling and accommodation costs will be covered. Transporting the youngest to and from OT, maintain a relationship with therapists and teachers, involve themselves in the scheduling and comms between the school and the home, schedule any appointments for the children and ensuring the children are on top of their schedules

Requirements:

English speaking female aged 30 years old

Start date:

1st November 2025 start, 3 month probation period, permanent contract.

Salary:

R18 000 - R20 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
