A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their newborn daughter

Duties:

General care and supervision, preparing meals, changing nappies, putting down for naps, bathing and dressing, soothing and providing comfort, sterilising bottles, keeping her areas around the home neat, tidy and organised, Engaging in age-appropriate stimulation

Special Requirements:

Newborn experience is essential. The ideal candidate would be trustworthy, honest, have good communication skills, be safety conscious, warm, friendly, and kind. They should be experienced, have no criminal record, be a non-smoker, and in good general health. The candidate must be fully proficient in Afrikaans and English, non-live in (thus situated in the Stellenbosch area and surrounding areas), and have their own car and driving license. An Infant First Aid certification is required, along with references I can follow up on. Tertiary education would be advantageous. Must have a valid south African ID (or passport and work permit), Must be registered with SARS or willing to do so before starting with the family, Have an active banking account (and be able to provide proof of banking), Proof of address and Cell phone as a method of communication.

Start Date and contract term:

November - permanent

Salary:

Half day (Mon, Wed and Fri 07:00 - 12:00)

R8000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km if any driving is required (R4.76)

Full day (Mon - Fri 07:00 - 15:00)

R18 000 - R20 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km if any driving is required (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
