A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter

Duties:

The role includes fetching her from school and extracurricular activities, overseeing homework and test preparation, and ensuring a good balance of academics and fun. The Au Pair will need to stay up to date with her academic responsibilities via the school app, assist with occasional meal preparation, run errands such as buying project materials (with mileage and expenses covered), and accompany her on outings. Additional responsibilities include occasional babysitting, managing holiday activities, helping her with room organisation and holiday packing, and supervising playdates.

Special Requirements:

The family is looking for a strong, well-rounded candidate who is

academically inclined and currently studying towards their degree

. These are important foundational years for their daughter, and they're hoping to find someone who can support her throughout the rest of her Primary School journey. Both parents are very involved, warm, and caring, and they're looking for

someone who can commit long-term and become part of the family

Start Date and contract term:

1 August - permanent

Salary:

R11 500pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
