Duties:
Not all duties will be the handled by the applicant, there is a Finance team handling the bulk, however the applicant must have excellent knowledge and understanding of, but not limited to:
Bank recons
Full function debtors for the parts and workshop departments
FICA reporting
Credit Notes
Vehicle & floorplan payments
Invoicing of vehicle sales, sending of invoices & statements to customer for payments
Paying of fleet discs and fines
Reconciliation of payments and sending the customers updated statements
Helping with creditors when needed
Handling the full petty cash function
Processing of journal entries
Liaise with auditors and resolve audit queries
Other administrative tasks as given by manager
Monthly Sales Analysis
Daily Inventory reports
Requirements:
5 + years Motor industry experience in a similar financial role with solid all-round knowledge of the workings within a Dealerships finance department
Relevant degree or financial diploma
Sound knowledge of at least one of the motor industry computer systems (Evolve, Kerridge, Automate etc.)
Sound knowledge of MS Office
Excellent literacy and numerical skills
Thorough Understanding of accounting principles
