To support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of North Beach Lifestyle, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth team operations, compliance with health & safety standards, and achievement of financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations.
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management processes.
Monitor food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in line with regulatory compliance.
Ensure all operational policies and procedures are adhered to.
Oversee staff scheduling, payroll inputs, and attendance monitoring.
Assist with daily cash-up, financial reporting, and cost control.
Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and events.
Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Basic financial acumen and knowledge of restaurant systems (POS, stock control software).
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality Management (preferred).
3+ years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the restaurant/hospitality sector.
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
