Duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform call centre duties.
  • Perform relief reception duties when so required.
  • Provide financial information in person, telephonically and by email.
  • Record, capture and respond to enquiries from students, staff, parents, guardians and sponsors.
  • Document and maintain enquiries regarding financial transactions. Submit supporting documents for scanning.
  • Capture data on PeopleSoft, bursary letters, payment arrangements, provisional registration applications.
  • Monitor, review and verify financial agreements uploaded by potential minor first-time entering students.
  • Generate requisitions and follow through to purchase order.
  • Adhere to POPIA by securing and protecting personal, confidential and sensitive information.
  • Perform general filling.
  • Generate study fee quotations and handle quotation enquiries.
  • Generate and email tuition fee statements.
Inherent requirements:
  • Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4.
Recommendations:
  • One (1) year relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Knowledge of general accounting.
  • Knowledge of calculations and mathematics to solve mathematical equations.
  • Knowledge of applications and programs in order to conduct work (MS Office and People Soft).
  • Knowledge of business - understanding the functional area and how it impacts.
  • Thoroughly understanding operations such as managing files and records.
  • Knowledge of problem solving to develop/evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of communication to clearly convey/receive messages (verbal/written).
  • Ability to identify, measure, analyse, interpret and communicate information.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 211,391.43 - R 354,408.50 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
