ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER - Sitari , Somerset West.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Village Manager, the successful incumbent is expected to perform functions by assisting with the day to day operations of the Evergreen Village's in order to achieve the business objectives of the Village as well as maintain the exceptional service standards expected in accordance with Evergreen Policies and Procedures.

Education and experience required:

Must have 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Supervisor Must be experienced/qualified Electrical (single & three phase) Plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, building and general maintenance. Must have good knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act Regulations Must have valid Driver's Licence and own Vehicle Must have good knowledge of building/construction requirements Computer Literate

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

Preference will be given to South African citizens Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills Ability to work without supervision and meet deadlines Strong planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines Effective, problem solving, decision making and conflict management skills Assist in all the maintenance of the stores including plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, building, carpentry and general maintenance Assist in planning preventative maintenance program. Responsible for budget lines and report monthly on these Maintain open communication channels with the Maintenance Manager or Operations Managers and Directors and ensure that clear feedback loops are in place to ensure that status reports on problems are fed back to those who have reported on them. Ensure that systems and procedures are adhered to.
