Job Summary ? Assistant Instructor | Training Facility ? ? Hoedspruit, Limpopo ? Salary: R18,000 - R21,000 (Negotiable DOE) ? Live-In Position | ? Bonus Incentive Based on Performance Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking passionate and experienced Assistant Instructors for a leading field guide training facility based in Hoedspruit. Placements are available across Karongwe, Timbavati, Pridelands, and Makuleke camps ?? This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with solid guiding experience and a passion for mentoring the next generation of field guides and conservation professionals ?? ? Minimum Requirements: o FGASA Nature Site Guide NQF 2/4 qualification o FGASA Trails Guide NQF 4 o Current Advanced Rifle Handling ? o Valid FGASA Membership o Current NDT Registration o Previous guiding or related industry experience o Valid PDP (desirable) ?? Key Responsibilities: o Assist with general management and daily operations of the training camp o Support planning and execution of infrastructure, vehicle, and equipment maintenance ? o Ensure firearms and ammunition are securely stored, maintained, and compliant with safety standards o Liaise with Reserve Management on operational and concession matters o Provide mentorship and support to students on placement or volunteering in camp ? o Supervise and support Camp Coordinators managing cooks and cleaners o Deliver immersive and inspiring training experiences to course participants ? o Plan and facilitate daily educational activities, lectures, and bush walks o Ensure academic requirements, assessments, and administrative processes are completed accurately ? ? Offered Package: o Salary: R18,000 - R21,000 per month CTC (dependent on experience) o Accommodation: Single tented accommodation ? o Meals included while in camp ?? o Bonus incentive based on personal and company performance o Placement based on candidate calibre and preference (fixed camp or roaming/relief role) o Start Date: As soon as possible o All positions subject to a 3-month probation period ?
