Contract Stay In Position or reside within 2km of the Guest House The successful candidate will be required to ensure the smooth operation of the guest house, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, and delivering top-notch customer service not only reflect an image of excellence, but to uphold a high standard of service honesty and accuracy. The main responsibility of the role is to ensure that the needs and requests of guests are met and that they have a memorable stay. Salary to be discussed depending on level of experience. Starting date: as soon as possible. Requirements: - Matriculated. A qualification in Travel and Tourism is desirable. - Demonstrate exceptional level of professionalism, maturity and emotional intelligence at all times - Strong people skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with guests and staff. - Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle guest concerns and complaints professionally. - The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role - Computer Literacy (min Word & Excel &) - Excellent written and oral English language skills (additional languages are advantageous) - Have strong organizational skills - Work accurately under pressure - Must be a good organizer, self-disciplined, loyal, and dedicated. - Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry. - Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays. - Valid Drivers Licence is a Bonus - Must be fully vaccinated Duties include, but are not limited to: - Obtain all required reservation information prior to arrival - Meet and greet guests, perform the guest arrival experience including all amenities, welcome, check-in and check-out processes. - Efficiently deal with Guest departures, including settling of the account. - Offer guests information regarding all services, accommodation, and facilities. - Kitchen Management: Prepare and serve breakfast, baked goods, and occasional light meals for guests. Maintain a well-organized kitchen, order supplies & always ensure a clean & hygienic kitchen. - Cleaning the grounds, public areas, kitchen, guest rooms and that inventory is properly stocked. - Ensure linen and towelling and all relevant operating equipment is controlled and sufficient for hotel needs. - Regular inspection of the property to ensure that all relevant standards, health and safety standards are maintained. - Ensure that all areas and facilities are properly maintained. - Review weekly maintenance schedule - Daily, weekly and monthly stocktake - Compile reports. - Perform basic filing and clerical duties Job Type: Full-time Salary: R6,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month Application Question(s):
