Job Summary Hotel & Resort in Central Drakensberg is looking for an Assistant General Manager to support the business by providing assistance to the General Manager across all operations & service departments and to deputise for the General Manager during his absence.
Duties:
Budgeting & Reporting
Operational Planning & Organising
Overview of the Management of all operations & service departments
Stock Control
Administration & Control
Security, Hygiene & Safety
Guest Relations Management
Management of Human Resources including Employment equity forum
Self Management
Requirements:
Grade 12
Hospitality or Food Services related Diploma, alternatively equivalent practical in-house training
At least 3 years in position applied for or alternatively 3 years' experience in position of Food and Beverage Manager, Housekeeper or Rooms Division Manager
Micros Pos system, Microsoft Office, Opera, Basic Computer Workings
Must be prepared to work shifts, overtime and work on weekends and public holidays
Valid driver's licence
