Our client, a high-impact player in South Africas mineral sector, is searching for a top-tier Assistant Financial Manager to join their elite finance team in Johannesburg North. This is not your average finance role. As the Junior Financial Manager, youll help steer the financial health of a JSE-listed, multi-entity group, taking ownership of complex consolidations and reporting structures. Duties:
- Drive group-level consolidations across multiple business units.
- Prepare and review group financial statements in line with IFRS and JSE compliance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.
- Assist in preparing detailed board packs and investor reports.
- Ensure continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate across audit, tax, treasury, and operations teams
Qualifications:
- CA(SA) designation
- 5+ years post-articles experience focused on consolidations and reporting within a listed environment.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.
