What you'll be doing

  • Team Leadership & Planning - Design and manage monthly and quarterly work plans to keep your team aligned and efficient.
  • Quality Control - Review accounting deliverables to ensure top-tier accuracy and consistency.
  • Mentorship & Training - Coach, guide, and upskill the team to build future leaders.
  • Client Engagement - Lead client meetings, maintain strong relationships, and ensure service consistency through client playbooks.
  • Delivery Management - Oversee timely, high-quality work that exceeds expectations.
  • Compliance & Reviews - Navigate SARS reviews, Annual Financial Statements compilations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Performance & Development - Run structured performance reviews and drive career growth.
  • Adhoc accounting project work, queries and advice as requested from clients and the team.
What you bring
  • 3+ years in an accounting or cloud accounting environment.
  • Completed articles and professional designation (CGMA, SAICA, or Professional Accountant SA).
  • Relevant degree (BCom/BAcc) or Honours in Accounting/Management Accounting.
  • Proven team entry-level leadership/management experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience with cloud platforms (Xero, Dext/Hubdoc, SimplePay, Cin7/Dear).
  • 1-3 years' experience with CaseWare or Draftworx for AFS drafting.
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, solution-driven, and passionate about growth.
