Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
510 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and reporting processes
Proven ability to conduct financial planning, analysis, and forecasting
Skilled in using financial tools and accounting software, including Xero, Dext, and Payspace Advantage
Highly organised with excellent time management abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team structure
Previous exposure to the hospitality industry will be advantageous
Key responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Support senior finance in strategic planning and decision-making
Manage budgeting and assist with variance analysis
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Supervise the bookkeeper and oversee accurate transaction recording
Liaise with auditors and assist in audit processes
Deliver regular financial reporting and forecasts for operational review
