The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide a quotation administration service.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3 year B-Degree/Advanced Diploma (equivalent qualification or higher); A minimum of 3 years supervisory level experience in Supply Chain Management; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas
Manage and supervise staff regarding the following functions and perform the more complex work in that regard: Supervise and compile quotation specifications as required; Coordinate, review, and compile the list of prospective providers for quotations; Supervise the sourcing of quotations for all purchases below R1000 000; Implementation of records and information management within the Division; Supervise human resource staff; It will be advantageous to have the following experience: Evaluation and analysing procurement information and data, e.g., spend analysis and process efficiencies; South African marketplace;Procuring in terms of policies and prescripts and in different sourcing methodologies.

Public sector SCM legislation, policies and procedures; Research and Reporting procedures; Strategic sourcing methodologies; Financial Management and Project Management; Standard bidding and advertising formats, market analysis methodology / sourcing strategies / Procurement Plan / Delegation of authority / Methods of product selection; Strategic sourcing and preferential procurement policy / BEE.

Remuneration
R 468 459 - R 561 894 per annum (Salary level 9)
