Job Description

A well-established short term insurer is seeking to appoint an Assistant Company Secretary and Statutory Liaison



Assist in the facilitation and administration of Company Secretary duties as outlined in the Companies Act and guided by PFMA regulations.

Qualification and Experience:



3 Year B.Com degree and studying toward CIS 5 - 6 years relevant experience

Duties and Responsibilities:



Meeting management



Provide for the proper recording of minutes in relation to all Executive Committee and Board meetings. Ensure the correct registration of Directors. Assist in recommendation of Directors to the board. Ensure meetings have quorum and reschedule if required.

Compliance with regulations



Adherence to National Treasury compliance dates. Requesting information for report to the relevant regulatory bodies.

Query referrals



Attending to queries in relation to Board and Compliance issues. Processing queries. Delivering queries to the appropriate person to resolve.

Ad hoc duties



Perform any reasonable task as and when required by the Line Manager.
