As Assistant Banqueting Manager, you will support the planning, setup, and execution of all banqueting and event functions, ensuring seamless operations from preparation to post-event wrap-up. You will supervise and coordinate banqueting staff, manage stock and resources, and act as a key point of contact on the day of events to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
This role involves assisting with staff training, scheduling, and performance monitoring, as well as maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards. It is ideal for candidates with strong banqueting experience who are looking to develop into senior management, gaining exposure to strategic planning, client liaison, and overall operational leadership.
